About Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone

Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone (hereafter referred to as Xiangtan CBZ), was approved to establish by the State Council on September 7th, 2013. It is the 32nd CBZ in China and the first one in Chang-Zhu-Tan city group. According to the overall design, Xiangtan CBZ will cover a total area of 3.12km². It reaches Changsha-Xiangtan West highway in the east, Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway in the south,  Xiangshui Avenue in the west, and Shatang Road in the north. The investment value is estimated to total 3.68 billion yuan. The first phase of the Zone construction covers four functional areas, namely, the bonded processing area, the bonded logistics area, the customs clearance area and the comprehensive service area, taking up an area of 1.62km²and 2.2 billion yuan investment. On April 20th, 2015, the Zone officially started operations. It is estimated to achieve a total export-import volume of 0.5 billion dollars in 2015, and will strive to reach one billion dollars in 2016. After three to five years  development, the Zone is expected to achieve an export-import volume of more than 5 billion dollars.
