Hunan Jinsen Furniture Manufacturing Co., Ltd was established in May 2016, and located at Jiuhua Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Xiangtan, with Tan Shenyan serving as president. The company engages in furniture manufacturing, wood processing, sales and import & export service of wood and furniture; import & export service of various goods and technologies; sales of agricultural and forest products, textile, clothing and home decoration supplies, cultural and sports supplies and equipment, mineral products, building materials, chemical products, mechanical equipment, hardware, electronic products, food, beverages and tobacco; design and implementation of decoration engineering; trade economy and agency; and cross-border e-commerce.
Its president Tan Shenyan is a native Xiangtan people who served in the army for several years under the cultivation and education of CPC, and worked in banking system in Xiangtan after his service in the army. Since the introduction of reform and opening-up policy, Mr. Tan started business in service sector (he has engaged in office furniture industry for more than 20 years, and his company has been rated as excellent supplier of government procurement). At the beginning of 2008, he noticed the demand for high-end redwood furniture market in China by his keen and sharp insight for business opportunities. Based on sufficient understanding of market conditions, he established Guangdong Zhongshan Dayong Hongshi Redwood Factory in Zhongshan, Guangdong, the city of redwood in China, and run a semi-finished redwood product processing base in Tanzania. Mr. Tan visits the oversea processing base and local market three times each year. His hardworking and efforts have won recognition and trust from domestic and overseas customers, brought opportunities and hopes for his business, and received handsome payback. During the period from 2014 to 2015, leaders from local government visited the company for many times, and suggested president Tan to move the business to his hometown to repay the local people. In May 2016, president Tan started his business in his hometown – Xiangtan at the invitation of local government. Under the support, concern and assistance from governments and related departments, Hunan Jinsen Furniture Manufacturing Co., Ltd was established in Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone on May 16, 2016.
The company can manufacture various series of redwood furniture, with annual output of 800 to 1000 sets of furniture. The furniture produced by the company has been well received by the society, and the sales price is far lower than that in Guangdong market, with up to 50% price difference. In line with market demands, the company plans to set up a new solid wood door production line in 2017 to meet various market demands for solid wood door, such as office building and commercial residential building decoration. The company will directly import raw wood from overseas to manufacture solid wood door, in order to improve cost performance of products, provide benefits for the public, develop market and increase marketing value.
It is estimated to realize output value of RMB50 million after operation of the whole project. The total investment for phase 1 is more than RMB20 million, including RMB 8 million for equipment investment. It is estimated to realize import and export volume of USD 5 million, annual output of RMB40 million, and paid taxes of RMB 1.2 million in the first year after operation; import and export volume of USD 6 million, annual output of RMB50 million, and paid taxes of RMB 1.5 million in the second year after operation; import and export volume of USD 7 million, annual output of RMB60 million, and paid taxes of RMB 1.8 million in the third year after operation; import and export volume of USD 8 million, annual output of RMB70 million, and paid taxes of RMB 2.1 million in the fourth year after operation; and provide 80-100 jobs in early phase.
