On July 9, 2020, three container trucks loaded with 75 tons of food-grade plastic particles (5090T) slowly drove into No. 4 standard warehouse of XTCBZ, suggesting the smooth development of the international purchasing agent of first batch of raw materials of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone Development and Investment Co., Ltd. (“XTCBZ Development and Investment).
The purchased plastic particles came from Taiwan, and were delivered to XTCBZ by means of river and ocean combined transportation via several ports, such as Gaoxiong, Shanghai and Changsha. Those purchased plastic particles will be the raw materials of Sunny & Sandy Toy Manufacturing Co., Ltd., to carry out food-grade toy processing. In recent years, XTCBZ has introduced projects under the industry orientation of “One Main Industry and Two Auxiliary Industries”, focusing on toy industry, carrying out industrial chain investment promotion, forming a whole industrial chain with the toy industry as its core, and building a R&D, production and export base of import and export toys in Central China and even the whole country. To further improve the industrial chain of toys, and promote cooperation and collective development among enterprises, XTCBZ, with XTCBZ Development and Investment, a state-owned enterprises, as the main body, carries out the international purchasing agent business of raw materials to provide supporting services of supply chain for enterprises in XTCBZ. The smooth development of international purchasing agent business of raw materials will help enterprises to stabilize the source of raw material purchase, effectively reduce purchasing costs and improve economic benefits.
