On June 24, Hu Weilin, Deputy Secretary of Xiangtan Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, led the leading officials of Xiangtan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Xiangtan Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, Bureau of Land and Resources, commerce, planning, finance and other related departments to Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan to attend the discussion meeting on the problems such as systems, funds and planning adjustment, etc. encountered in the construction process of the Comprehensive Bonded Zone. Chen Xiaoshan, Deputy Mayor of Xiangtan City, was present at the meeting.
Since operation on April 20, through external publicity and investment promotion, internal standardized management and improved services, each work of Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan has gone well, with a good development trend. At present, 12 enterprises such as Koko International, Geely Meijiafeng, Merry Wines Corp., HITAL, etc. have gone into operation, and it is expected the number of such kind of such enterprises will be over 20 in the whole year. 28 projects has been introduced, among which 17 projects are newly signed this year, covering processing, international trade, warehousing logistics, bonded exhibition and services, etc.
Next, with the main idea of "functional innovation, cooperative development, convenient services", focusing on large-scale processing, big logistics, extensive commercial trade and comprehensive services, Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan will constantly improve and upgrade development idea, pay special attention to investment promotion, expand service functions, strengthen team construction and make efforts to build Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan into domestic first-class comprehensive bonded zone.
In the process of construction and development, Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan has also encountered the problems such as imperfect system and mechanism, financial strain, incomplete infrastructure and improper personnel transfer etc., and these problems need to be solved urgently. Leading officials of Shaoshan Customs District, Shaoshan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, The People's Bank, Finance Department, Bureau of Land and Resources and other related functional departments respectively responded to the problems of Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan and put forward suggestions for future development.
Hu Weilin pointed out that Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan is an important platform of Xiangtan or even Hunan to open to the outside world, it plays an irreplaceable role in promoting the development of open economy, improving the popularity of Xiangtan and driving the rise of regional economy.
