On 20th August, the first direct-sale store of Xiangtan Bonded Goods Center (XTBGC) located in Jinshuiwan Community of Xiangtan Economic and Technical Development opened to the public, offering more than 1500 kinds of goods from over 50 countries and regions, such as Spain, Germany and South Korea, and allowing local customers to enjoy global purchase experience. In order to allow local customers to buy safe and economical products, XTBGC Direct-sale Store adopts overseas direct procurement mode and Customs-Quarantine and Inspection supervision.

Xiangtan Bonded Goods Center (XTBGC) Direct-sale Store located in Jinshuiwan Community offers more than 1500 kinds of goods from over 50 countries and regions, such as pure milk from Poland, cider wine from Austria, fragrant rice from Thailand, etc. The products cover food, daily commodities, wine, mother and children goods, fresh food and meats, and dietary supplements. On the opening day, the store attracted many customers. Miss Chen Dao and her family, who live in Wanlong Qinghuafang Community, came to purchased food and daily commodities. Miss Chen told us that they attached special attention to food because of her child, and XTBGC direct-sale store could satisfy her demands on quality.

XTBGC Direct-sale Store is established under the support of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Xiangtan Bonded Goods Center. All its goods are directly imported from overseas manufacturers to XTCBZ warehouse, and then distributed to direct-sale store. Customs, Inspection and Quarantine and other sections would supervise and control the quality of goods. There is no distribution link during sales section, therefore the price of goods in direct-sale store is 20% lower than that of other supermarkets.
The First Step of A Thousand Stores Program
On the opening day, many citizens came to Jinshuiwan Direct-sale Store. Some citizens living in Yuetang District said that though it was a little bit distance from their home, the goods were really good. They hope XTBGC will open direct-sale store in Hedong district. Luo Weimin, the executive vice president of Pangu International Company –the operator of XTBGC, remarked that Jinshuiwan store was the first direct-sale store of XTBGC, they planned to open 200 direct-sale stores in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan region, and 1000 stores in Hunan province. They aim to allowing local customers easily purchase imported goods and making imported goods consumption into mass consumption.
At present, XTBGC has obtained general agency rights or authorizations of more than 30,000 imported goods from over 50 countries and regions. XTBGC will establish a professional goods supply and trade platform and realize A Thousand Store Program by virtue of its advantages of direct procurement and franchise authorization operation mode.
