The Second China International Import Expo ended successfully on November 10. The Second Import Expo continued the theme of "New Era, Sharing the Future". A total of 181 countries, regions and international organizations participated in the expo. More than 3,800 companies participated in the corporate exhibition, with the exhibition area reaching 360,000 square meters. More than 500,000 professional buyers at home and abroad came to the expo to discuss procurement, including more than 7,000 overseas buyers, greatly exceeding the number at the first session. The internationalization of buyers has further improved, and the professionalism of buyers has become stronger. Among them, 32% of domestic enterprises are from manufacturing and 25% from wholesale and retail. The transaction procurement achieved fruitful results, and calculated on a year-on-year basis, intentional transactions totaled US $ 71.13 billion, with an increase of 23% over the first session.
The Party Working Committee and Management Committee of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone attached great importance to the participation and organization of enterprises. Bao Xuqi and Zhou Wenbing, deputy directors of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone Management Committee led the relevant comrades of the Economic Development and Investment Promotion Bureau to participate in the second expo, and actively organized the heads and purchasing representatives of six enterprises in the Zone to participate in the Second China International Import Expo.
Since the opening of the Expo, the Comprehensive Bonded Zone has taken advantage of the opportunity to participate in the second China International Import Expo, actively promoted the park, connected exhibitors, and participated in the Australia-Hunan Procurement Matchmaking Conference, Hunan-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Matchmaking Conference, Hunan Medical and Service trade promotion seminar and commodity service procurement matchmaking meeting. At the Hunan-Australia Import and Export Commodity Procurement Matchmaking Conference of the Second China International Import Expo, Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Xiangtan Cross-border New Silk Road and Aulife Group signed a tripartite intention framework agreement for strategic cooperation, to make use of online and offline platforms and international and domestic markets for better exertion of the role of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone as an outward-oriented economic platform in Xiangtan.
The Comprehensive Bonded Zone has achieved fruitful results in the Expo. The exhibition companies in the Comprehensive Bonded Zone reached a procurement intention of USD1,843,700 at the Expo and successfully completed the city's purchase target of USD1.6 million. Hunan Sunny & Sandy Toy Production Co., Ltd., Hunan Cross-border New Silk Road International Trade Co., Ltd., and Hunan Qixin Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. purchased dry ice blasting equipment, food and daily chemical products. The enterprises in the park stated that the scale, quality and exhibition level of the expo are far beyond the first session, and the booths of different countries have distinctive features and colorful activities. The Comprehensive Bonded Zone will further promote the implementation of various cooperation, and promote the development of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone to become a bridgehead of outward-oriented economy in Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan, and even Hunan Province.
