On August 28, Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone and China (Central) Yuetang International Trade City successfully signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Tang Yu, Party Secretary and president of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Luo Gang, director of the Municipal Government Port Office, Wang Wenming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Zhou Wenbing, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Li Hui, deputy head of the Yuetang District People's Government, and relevant officials of Yuetang International Trade City attended the signing ceremony.
At the ceremony, relevant officials of China (Central) Yuetang International Trade City introduced the overall situation of the project and said that they would carry out international trade and international processing business, hoping to make use of the export-oriented economic function platform of the Comprehensive Bonded Zone to strengthen the international business, and create a regional international trade circulation hub. Wang Wenming introduced the functional positioning and policy advantages of the Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and expressed great expectations for the upcoming cooperation between the two parties. China (Central) Yuetang Trade City is a comprehensive and iconic international seventh-generation commercial and trade new city integrating commodity display and trading, e-commerce, conference and exhibition, tourism and shopping, cultural creativity, headquarters, modern logistics and new industries. It is also an international trade circulation hub, which is in line with the functional attributes of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone's service-oriented economy platform. There is broad prospects for cooperation in such aspects as bonded warehousing logistics, bonded display, bonded processing, cross-border e-commerce, etc. It has attracted great attention from the municipal party committee and municipal government, and it also has an economic foundation. The cooperation between the two sides will further promote the development of an export-oriented economy.
Tang Yu said that in recent years, the Xiangtan Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government have implemented the development requirements of “Innovation Leading, Open Rise”. Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone is the bridgehead of Xiangtan City’s open economy, and China (Central) Yuetang International Trade City intends to build Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Central Business Zone and 100 billion energy-class commercial aircraft carrier, hoping that the two sides will carry out diversified cooperation in the future, pragmatically and efficiently promote the project implementation, achieve mutual benefit and win-win, and jointly create a new highland of Xiangtan City's export-oriented economy.
